Here are a few suggested running routes in major Australian cities to get you started. Many of these are through parks and gardens so you can easily shorten them by cutting across.
Sydney – a 4 1/2km route around the Botanic Gardens:
Melbourne – 5km routes around the ‘Tan or Carlton and Fitzroy Gardens
Brisbane – 2kms around the City Botanic Gardens or a longer 6 1/2km loop over Victoria Bridge, Story Bridge and back
